It has been a while since I posted but Pekos has been doing really well. He is a delightful bird and fun to watch. He likes to get down on the ground and walk around and his first run is straight up the stairs. In the living room I don't let him on the ground because he picks at the carpet. This perch is difficult to get down from but that doesn't stop him from trying!
He is starting to trust me a great deal but isn't fond of Jen and will lunge at her if she gets to close. He seems very interested in my daughter though. He doesn't bite, or at least not so far, but he will lunge at you and give you a sharp beak grab if you do something he doesn't like or if you scare him.
